Animal Crossing Update - The Loop

Dragon Draw is a feature accessed through the Summoning Circle. It allows players to enter into raffles with Soul Shards and vote for dragons to appear in raffles.

Active Draws

At any given time, there will be 5 active draws. Each draw will have:

A dragon, selected from the most votes list.
A timer, which is the time until an active draw expires.
A required soul shard threshold.

Players need to contribute their Soul Shards to an active draw to reach the threshold. A successful draw is any draw that reaches the required amount of shards before the draw expires.

Upcoming Dragons

Players can vote from a list of all dragons for which dragon will be next to be in active draws.

Completed Draws

Players can view the 50 most recent completed draws. This list will show what dragon was won, which player won it (displayed as their friend code), and whether or not you contributed Soul Shards to that draw.

Notes

Dragon Draw was first teased in game with a new loading screen depicting the Summoning Circle and Soul Shards being viewable in game on June 14th, 2021.
Dragon Draw was initially released on July 20th, 2021.
- Players were able to obtain the Summoning Circle, and were able to use Dragon Draw for 35 minutes. Critical bugs were found with Dragon Draw which had to be worked on.
Dragon Draw received a second soft launch on October 25th, 2021.
- The feature was only accessible to players who already had the Summoning Circle from the first release on July 20th, 2021, in order to make sure the initial bugs had been fixed.
- Upon the soft launch of Dragon Draw the Sunscorch Dragon's picture in voting menus was incorrectly set as a Fire Dragon.
- Initially, the list of completed draws showed the user Ex-Valer#null winning a Tree Dragon, Lightmatter Dragon, Daylily Dragon, Flickerflame Dragon, Lunis Dragon, Glyph Dragon, Apex Dragon, Iden Dragon, Burglehoo Dragon, Canvas Dragon, Kaiju Dragon, Regal Dragon, Opal Dragon, Quantum Dragon, Triple Leap Year Dragon, Celerulean Dragon, Dazzle Dragon, and Diamond Dragon.
